Viet Uc Environmental Treatment Company is the unit carrying out the destruction according to the plan approved by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City. Destruction method: milk will be put into a large tank mixed with sawdust, then put into the incinerator. The remaining soot after burning will be compressed into blocks and buried. The destruction takes place at Le Minh Xuan Industrial Park, Binh Chanh district.
* News from the Ministry of Health said that the ministry will hold an inter-sectoral meeting on October 23 on handling milk containing melamine and products of unknown origin or unpublished quality standards, a total of over 700 tons. Accordingly, products whose quality standards have not been announced will require publication and circulation if they meet the standards. For products of unknown origin, it is recommended to change the purpose of use to making animal feed. For milk containing melamine, there are three proposals: re-export to the exporting country, destroy and repurpose for use as animal feed.
